About MedArise

Healthcare operations need an accountable owner.

MedArise builds and operates managed AI teams for medical practices. We begin with one administrative function, carry routine work through completion, and preserve clear human authority for every exception and decision.

Leadership

Built by AI operators. Guided by a practice leader.

MedArise combines technical depth in healthcare AI with the operating perspective of an independent physician practice.

Founder & CEO

Feynman Xu, Ph.D.

AI scientist and healthcare operator

Feynman's Ph.D. work focused on artificial intelligence and healthcare. He founded MedArise around a simple conviction: medical practices should be able to spend more of their capacity on care, not on coordinating paperwork across faxes, payer portals, phone calls, and EHR queues.

MedArise turns that conviction into managed AI teams that carry routine administrative work through completion and take ownership of recoverable exceptions.

What MedArise is

MedArise is an AI back office for independent medical practices. Our managed AI teams support prior authorization, insurance eligibility, referrals and fax, revenue cycle, and patient access.

The product is not another general dashboard for clinic staff to supervise. Each launch defines the trigger, inputs, allowed actions, administrative exceptions, clinic-only decisions, system of record, and evidence required for completion.

How responsibility is divided

AI performs repeatable, approved steps. MedArise operations specialists handle recoverable administrative exceptions. The practice stays responsible for clinical judgment, licensed actions, coding choices, financial authority, and practice-specific policy decisions.

Security follows the implementation

A Business Associate Agreement is available and completed when applicable before MedArise receives protected health information. Access, retention, integrations, logging, and authority are confirmed for the actual workflow rather than assumed from a generic product claim.

01

Start with one workflow

A bounded launch makes quality, exception ownership, and value visible before either side expands scope.

02

Own the administrative exceptions

AI handles routine work. MedArise operations specialists resolve recoverable administrative failures instead of sending every edge case back to clinic staff.

03

Keep authority explicit

Clinical judgment, coding decisions, financial authority, and practice policy remain with the appropriately authorized person.

04

Work in the existing operation

Each implementation defines the approved systems, access, write-back, audit evidence, and completion criteria for the scoped workflow.
